Mariqueen sighed as she plopped her gold leather bag down on the sandy surface of the beach, pulling out her blue beach towel and laying it down on the ground right next to her bag. Her dark brown eyes obscured by sunglasses, she squinted against the sun as she pulled a book, Stephen King's "The Stand" out of her bag, as well as her dark pink blackberry, which she placed on the corner of her towel. She sat cross legged and opened the deeply-creased book. "The Stand" was one of her favorite books, and so far, she had gone through three copies of the book because she loved reading it so much--she would literally read the book to death, until it was creased beyond any saving. She shifted so she was laying on her stomach as she heard her phone go off--she had a new text, from Trent. Mariqueen smiled brightly as she answered it, replied, and set her phone back down, before settling down with her book again. Her long black hair pulled back into a ponytail, she blew away the lock of hair that had fallen out of the elastic band, into her face. Eyes looking up from her book, she glanced across the beach, looking for anyone she recognized. She had texted pretty much everybody she knew from the tour to see if anybody would join her for a day at the beach, and had received a few "yeses," along with a handful of "maybes" in response. She hoped someone would show up and join her; she was getting awfully bored... (( le outfit. Sorry it's a bit short, I'm not feeling well today...))

you're the queen of the superficial A N D H O W L O N G B E F O R E Y O U T E L L T H E T R U T H - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Valary was sitting in her hotel room checking the schedule of the tour when she heard her cell vibrate. Val took it and saw that she had received a message from Mariqueen. She opened her inbox and read the message: It was an invitation to join her at the beach. She thought why not and texted her back saying she'll be there. Val called up Matt and told him that he would be at the beach and whenever he's done practicing he should come and join her. Valary walked to her closet and grabbed her bikini, beach bag and sunglasses. She put on a white top and a jean mini-skirt with flip-flops before she headed to the beach.
Valerie drove to the beach and it didn't take her long to arrive there. She got out of her car and walked on the sunny beach trying to find Mariqueen. Not long after, she spotted her in a black swim suit and smiled. Val walked over to her and saw that she seemed to be looking for someone. She cleared her throat to catch the woman next to her's attention and said "Hey Mariqueen." Valary took out her towel and laid it on the sand. She then sat on the towel and turned her attention to Mariqueen. "Thanks for the invite. I needed a break real bad and relax." Val said smiling at her thankfully.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - POST STATUS completeKICKING IT WITH mariqueen, openOUTFIT beach outfitWORD COUNT two three threeCODING CREDIT lovelikethisMUSIC the museNOTES blah blah blah

The sound of someone clearing their throat made Mariqueen glance over, startled, only to see a very grateful-looking Valary. Smiling brightly, she replied, "Hey! No problem. Today's too nice a day to waste by spending inside. I tried to convince Trent to come with, but he said he wanted to get some writing done," she paused, her hand waving dismissively, before shrugging and adding, "whatever. I'm just glad you were able to make it." She shifted so she was sitting cross legged, to face Valary. "So, how goes all of the...management business, for lack of a better term?" She shook her head, sighing at herself. "I don't know how you manage to deal with all of that...I'd probably tear all of my hair out on the first day," she said with a meek smile.
"How've you been? We haven't had time to talk lately..." Valary and herself had both been ridiculously busy over the past two or so weeks, and for Mariqueen at least, social lives and hanging out had taken a backseat to keeping her sanity intact, getting ready for various shows, as well as attempting to get through the very early stages of the wedding planning stages.
Putting her book back into the bag, Mariqueen squinted as the sun continued to glare into her eyes, even with sunglasses on. Slightly annoyed, she muttered under her breath, "Jesus, I swear there's a hole in the ozone directly above us.
